In 2023, people in Lagos found themselves constantly struggling to organize hangouts. Between coordinating schedules, finding venues, splitting bills, and tracking who paid what, planning a simple get-together became a nightmare.
We also noticed how hard it was for solo travelers, newcomers to the city, and people looking to expand their social circle to find others to hang out with. Existing apps didn't understand the Nigerian context – our payment methods, our social dynamics, our favorite hangout spots, or our need for social discovery.
